Thank you to all of our friends and family who have been praying for Brett's grandmother for the last week. Her open-heart surgery was a success and she is out of the hospital! She got to go home yesterday and I know she was ready to be back home! It is a HUGE answer to prayer. Please continue to keep praying for her speedy recovery as well. We love you Grandma!Two weekends ago Brett & I attended a friends wedding - congrats to the Midkiffs! - in Midland. It was so nice to be home even if just for the weekend. We got to go see my granddad and aunt & uncle in Andrews on Saturday. It was good to see everyone! Hopefully we will be back in West Texas sooner rather than later!

In other news, I would like to let everyone know that I will be creating a spin-off blog in the near future. I haven't finalized the details but I can tell you that you will definitely want to read it! I plan to have my own blog for random (surprise, surprise) topics, ranting about politics and sharing my personal thoughts. So stay tuned. Once I have it created, I'll let you know where to find it!
And fear not, this blog, B+M, isn't going anywhere. We will still be posting things here to keep you updated on Brett & I. Oh - and feel free to add a comment to our posts or add yourself as a "follower" so I know that someone out there is reading what I write! I'd hate for all my wise words to go un-read!
